Victoria’s main transit street was transformed to accommodate a greater priority on transit, cycling and pedestrian circulation. The sidewalks where organized for increased pedestrian volume and to better considered handicap mobility.  Furniture was custom designed by Crosland Doak.  Public art installations, in association with artist Illarion Gallant, used recycled granite curbs and metal castings from the turn of the century.  This project was undertaken when Crosland was co-owner and principal of InSite Landscape Architecture (Victoria).
